Pulp Friction
Lead Gardener, Chelsea Flower Show
I was employed by Pulp Friction from Feb 2021 until July 2024 as their lead gardener. I developed a number of community gardening initiatives, working alongside the members and the wider Pulp Friction family. In 2023, I successfully led an application with Dutch Landscape Architects to secure funding from Project Giving Back for the 'Pulp Friction Growing Skills Garden' at The Chelsea Flower Show 2024. I am worked alongside members, parents, volunteers and partners to grow around 1/3 of the plants for the garden, and was on site helping to build the garden and sharing it with visitors throughout the show.

Nottingham City Centre
I have been working on this garden for the last 4 years. It is stunning space that has a beautiful cliff face backdrop. I regularly do battle with the wisteria which is stunning when it is in flower. The garden features 2 main beds that I have redesigned and replanted and an elegant rose garden at the rear. It's a calm oasis next to one of the busiest roads in the city.

Sherwood Redesign
This was a small, weedy turfed sloping space to the rear of her relatively new house that was very overlooked and very hot in the summer. Working with Mike from Pev's Paving we collaborated on a scheme that would keep the border spaces but add in steps to create shade and privacy. Mike delivered the landscaping beautifully and I delivered the planting.

Tranquility Garden Maintainance
Working with Andy from Sherwood Garden Consultancy, I garden monthly at the Jo Thompson designed Tranquility Garden at QMC in Nottingham. We work alongside skilled and knowledgeable volunteers to keep the space looking fabulous. This has included bringing in lots of my home grown plants to increase the round year interest. The garden is exceptionally well used by staff and patients and every session usually includes a thank you conversation with someone enjoying the space.
