I am an organic gardener living and working in Nottingham. I have over 20 years hands on experience of working on allotments, community gardens and private spaces. I have an extended certificate in horticulture and I am a member of the Gardeners Guild. Since setting up my business 4 years ago, I have a full timetable of regular private customers. I am part of the team of volunteers who maintain the QMC Tranquility garden and I also work 121 with a customer who has dementia doing both growing and crafting projects. I am currently working on a number of 'Growing for Good' projects out of my home plant nursery. Most of my customers come through word of mouth. In 2024 I was the lead gardener for Pulp Friction CIC on their RHS Chelsea Flower Show project. The garden was awarded a silver gilt medal and also won the People's Choice award.

Maintenance Gardening
I work with a range of clients. I currently have around 20 customers who I visit at least once a month. From small front gardens to full overhauls, I work closely with my customers to help them make the most of their spaces - putting the right plant in the right place.
Be it a single border or an ongoing full garden transformation over time, planning and delivering beautiful gardens that work for my customers is my passion.
Therapeutic Gardening
I have worked with people with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autism, people experiencing mental health/addiction issues as well as sessions with young people. I have delivered sowing and propagation sessions, gardening work parties in community & public spaces with volunteers as well as houseplant/gardening and craft workshops.
As well as 121 work, I have two larger projects on the go - one with Lilya Lighthouse Education Trust and I am the visiting gardener at Sherwood House in Lindby.
Plant Sales - Growing for Good
This is a growing area of my work that I have been nurturing this year. I currently grow plants to order for my customers. But I have long grown house plants and veg, running charity sales at my allotment.
Having had the experience of producing plants for Chelsea, I have been growing and selling heucheras, succulent plants and perennial plants divided from my garden stock. I then invest the funds raised back into my Therapeutic Garden Projects.
